This photograph is of Dr. Emmett J. Scott surrounded by his Office Corps. Left to Right - William H. Davis, Ernestine B. English, Dr. Scott, Madeline P. Childs, Richard W. Thompson, Joseph H. Nelson, J. Bernard Smith, and Charles L. Webb. During World War II, Scott worked for the Sun Shipbuilding Company of Chester, Pennsylvania, and helped the company create Yard No. 4 for black laborers.
