This image was taken the morning after Zachariah Walker's murder at the site of his lynching. Zachariah was dragged from the hospital by a lynch mob in Coatesville, PA, after being accused of killing a White security guard and former policeman, Edgar Rice. Despite strong evidence, none of the 15 local men and boys who were accused were found guilty.
