The Armstrong Association

The Armstrong Association was an organization aimed at increasing the employment opportunites for African Americans in Philadelphia during the Great Migration. Composed of an interracial board, which contained many "Old Philadelphians", the organization aided Southern newcomers as they arrived in the city.
